...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas...

  Trinity River at Riverside affecting San Jacinto, Walker, Polk
  and Trinity Counties.

For the Trinity River...including Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich,
Liberty, Moss Bluff...Major flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Trinity River at Riverside.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 137.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding continues as
  several homes in the Green Rich Shores Subdivision in Walker
  County flood and water covers Thomas Lake Road. The lowest
  buildings off FM 980 northwest of Riverside flood.
  At 138.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding continues with water 3 to
  4 feet below the State Highway 19 Bridge and Plantation Drive near
  FM 230 is inundated. FM 2978 is flooded and impassable. Up to one
  foot of water is flowing over Thomas Lake Road which remains
  impassable. Several roads into the Green Rich Shores and Deep
  River Plantation subdivisions are covered with up to one foot of
  water and homes in Deep River Plantation are threatened.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 137.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 133.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1:30 PM CDT Monday was 137.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 137.8
    feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late
    Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 133.5 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    137.7 feet on 07/18/2007.

  inundated.

  - At 2:16 PM CDT Monday the stage was 26.4 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:16 PM CDT Monday was 26.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late tonight and continue falling to 3.5 feet early Saturday
    afternoon.

  - At 2:15 PM CDT Monday the stage was 28.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 2:15 PM CDT Monday was 28.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 29.2 feet tomorrow evening.
    It will then fall below flood stage Thursday morning to 13.3
    feet Thursday evening. It will rise to 14.0 feet Friday
    morning. It will then fall to 12.5 feet early Saturday
    morning. It will rise to 12.6 feet Saturday morning. It will
    then fall again and remain below flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

  elevation of homes on the right bank just below Lake Livingston is
  reached.
  At 46.8 feet, In past flood at levels above 46.8 feet many homes
  below Lake Livingston were flooded...some with water midway up
  their windows.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 37.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 36.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 1:45 PM CDT Monday was 37.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 45.0
    feet early tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 36.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Trinity River near Romayor.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 41.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins as water
  spreads into the flood plain. Livestock and equipment should be
  removed from the flood plain.
  At 42.0 feet, Major lowland flooding begins with widespread
  inundation of the flood plain in the vicinity of the gage.
  Numerous head of livestock are threatened if not already removed
  from the flood plain. Downstream communities in Liberty should
  prepare for possible flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 32.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 30.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 41.6
    feet early Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
